A better buyflow entrypoint

I led the plan card redesigns for Core, Home and Edge, which added a “Check availability” button that drops you into the buyflow.

I added the ‘Check Availability’ button to the plan cards to serve as the buyflow entrypoint

Why it mattered: in research interviews I conducted, people kept clicking on the plan cards when they wanted to buy, and nothing happened. There was no entry point there.

Nobody complained about it, because it’s hard to ask for something that isn’t on the screen. You only catch it by watching what people try to click.

But if people literally can’t figure out how to buy your product, it’s a problem.

I pushed to prioritize the fix and designed the buyflow entry point. A/B testing showed a real lift in installs.

The button is now where our users expect it to be! So they are empowered to navigate our offerings faster.
